I know I am late in posting about this, but it took a minute to get all the footage together, find the time, el dinero, and someone who was not only able to see, but also execute the vision.

how did we even get here, bruv?
Well it all started on a hot Texas night, when I was tasked by Future Front, as one of their resident DJs, to curate their opening night at a pool party…
“Introducing our opening night lineup. On August 29 [2024], we’re hanging poolside with a sunset DJ set by Hierba Malita at The LINE Hotel pool to kick off The Front Fest.”

I was one of their resident artists in 2024.
This event here, is where I was scouted. Its very important for me to share this because it all felt very aligned. I began to get more comfortable in exploring sounds that really got me going, and it made Natalie Lepore look my way that night. It felt good to be seen, appreciated, and man… its just crazy to me.

Invited a lot of my friends (mentioned in the video) to film and shoot this important moment for me. I hope you guys enjoy this little learning moment for me. It feels nice to be able to capture a part of my journey like this. I didn’t plan my set, I had a general idea of some songs I wanted to play but everything was very on the fly. Shout out to Ben for editing this!
